SEGA has revealed some of the playable characters that will appear in Sonic Superstars, such as Sonic, Tails and the villains who will stand in their way. The full press release can be viewed below.

The Four Superstars for This New Adventure!

SONIC

The fastest hedgehog to ever live! Sonic travels the world at supersonic speed while taking down anything that poses a threat to his friends, peace, and nature. While he’d prefer to relax with his pals, there’s no way he could ever overlook Dr. Eggman’s evil schemes!

AMY

Amy is cheerful and energetic pink hedgehog who has a strong sense of justice and a kind heart. She punishes those who pick on the weak with her gigantic Piko Piko Hammer!

TAILS

Tails is a highly-motivated genius mechanic who also pilots Sonic’s plane, the Tornado! He can fly by spinning his two tails like propellers. Tails is the best sidekick Sonic could ask for!

KNUCKLES

Knuckles is the guardian of the Master Emerald on Angel Island, and the last surviving member of his clan. He can smash enemies with his powerful spiked knuckles, climb up walls, and glide! Though he can be a bit hardheaded at times, he’s an honorable and reliable ally!

The Colorful Lineup of Villains that Clash with Sonic and His Friends

DR. EGGMAN

Dr. Eggman is an evil genius scientist with an IQ of over 300 who plans to conquer the world and establish his Eggman Empire. In order to obtain even more power, he searches for the Chaos Emeralds along with his mighty robot army. What sort of wicked schemes does he have for the Northstar Islands?

FANG

A jerboa known as Fang the Hunter. This nimble bounty hunter is always on the lookout for his next big score. As a wanted criminal, he’s gone by many different names over the years. Always trying to get an edge on his opponents, Fang has fine-tuned his beloved vehicle, the Marvelous Queen, once again for this adventure.

TRIP

Trip is a mysterious girl who is first encountered by Fang on the Northstar Islands. She is donned from head to toe in heavy armor, the weight of which seems to contribute to her clumsiness. Dr. Eggman and Fang force her to guide them through this uncharted land.
