SYNOPSIS
Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth is the first of the prosecutorial prodigy’s solo adventures. An incident and a massive conspiracy unfold in Edgeworth’s office. Another “turnabout” begins.
The story begins as Miles Edgeworth, returning from a business trip abroad, discovers a corpse in his own office. This event leads to the revelation of stolen case files from a decade ago and the existence of a certain organization. Soon, he finds himself confronting a massive conspiracy involving international police…
New faces such as the self-proclaimed Great Thief Kay Faraday and Interpol agent Shi-long Lang, along with familiar characters like Dick Gumshoe and Franziska Von Karma, take center stage as another turnabout begins.
Ace Attorney Investigations 2: Prosecutor’s Gambit is the second of Edgeworth’s solo outings. Featuring new characters and the new “Mind Chess” gameplay mechanic, this title also expands on the crime scene re-creation gameplay mechanic introduced in the first entry.
His father was a lawyer, but Edgeworth chose to become a prosecutor. This unprecedented “turnabout” connects the past and the present. The story begins roughly ten days after the events of “Ace Attorney Investigations.” Triggered by a certain event, Miles Edgeworth is stripped of his investigative authority and learns about the past of his father, Gregory Edgeworth, who was a lawyer. With his right to investigate crimes stripped from him, Edgeworth is left wondering if he should continue to pursue the truth as a prosecutor or as a defense attorney.
Just what will his ultimate answer be…?
New characters such as Eddie Fender, who knows about Edgeworth’s past, and Judge Verity Gavèlle suddenly appear, bringing forth an unprecedented turnabout.
There are many quality-of-life improvements made in the collection from updated sprites to a gallery for you to peruse to even a story mode being added into the game for smoother investigations. A good thing to note, the story mode can automatically make selections and solve puzzles for you, perfect if you just want to sit back and enjoy the story unfold. This feature must be turned on or off manually. Speaking of gallery, you can even change the soundtrack for the story. There’s a pre-order bonus that includes 5 soundtracks. They are listed below:
