Square Enix has announced that they will be shutting down services for The Irregular at Magic High School Reloaded Memory on 14th August 2023.
The Irregular at Magic High School Reloaded Memory launched back in 28th June 2022 and will have been live a little over a year. The announcement was made over at the Square Enix bridge website and the full notice can be viewed here.
The developers mentions that the team had been working hard to provide better service since the service started; but have came to the conclusion that it will be difficult to provide a service that satisfies the playerbase in the future, and thus have decided to terminate the service.
Until 14th August 2023, players will still be able to play the game and its contents; albeit without the option to purchase in game currencies.
Via AppMagic, the game garnered a lifetime revenue of over 4 Million USD in Japan, and peaked during its first month of release but it has been on a decline ever since.
The Irregular at Magic High School Reloaded Memory is a real-time battle Role Playing Game where players can relive the story of the franchise. The game has all of its original voice actors reprising their roles, along with new original characters and an original story.
