Anime (a term derived from the English word animation) describes all animated works, regardless of style or origin. Some English-language dictionaries define “anime” as “a style of Japanese animation”or as “a style of animation originating in Japan”.

Animation in Japan began in the 20^th century and in the 1990s, anime also began attracting greater interest in Western countries. Emakimono and kagee are considered the forefathers of Japanese animation. The first feature-length anime film was “Momotaro: Sacred Sailors (1945)”.  Three Tales (1960) was the first anime film broadcast on television and the first anime television series was Instant History (1961–64).

It is a style of film and television animation, typically aimed at adults both male and female as well as children originating from Japan. Animation produced outside of Japan with a similar style to Japanese animation is referred to as “anime-influenced animation”.

Anime (Thai: อนิเมะ) is distributed theatrically, through television broadcasts, directly to home media, and over the Internet. One such distribution platform is อนิเมะ which is a popular online platform for Anime lovers, especially from Thailand. Science fiction is a major anime genre and apart from that they also provide you with popular Action, Adventure, Animation, Comedy, Fantasy, Horror, and other different genres of anime with Thai subtitles for Thailanders. They also have English and อนิเมะพากย์ไทย (Thai: อนิเมะพากย์ไทย) films.

Anime shows are fun to watch but if can watch them with subtitles it makes it easier for you to understand but when it is dubbed in your native language “Thai” then it is a great opportunity to get facilitated from it. Watching in your native language makes it easier to understand and more entertaining because not everyone understands the original language whichever it is.

You can find some anime films dubbed on YouTube but not in good quality and without subtitles and that is an issue that demands us to prefer a real platform such as อนิเมะ. The major anime production studios are Studio Ghibli, Sunrise, and Toei Animation.

Until the 1980s the anime movies were only popular in Japan but with the rise of foreign dubbing and subtitle trend now as of 2016, Japanese anime is accounted for 60% of the world’s animated television shows. “Naruto Shippuden” the Japanese movie (also known as นารูโตะ ตำนานวายุสลาตัน, Thai: นารูโตะ ตํานานวายุสลาตัน) is available at อนิเมะ in English dubbing.

Anime are often adaptations of Japanese comics (manga), light novels, or video games but there are original ones as well. It is classified into numerous genres targeting different age group audiences.

In anime, the animation is produced before the voice acting but in American animation the voice acting first; it sometimes causes lip-sync errors (Voice before or after the acting) in the Japanese version.

It is a bit different from Western animations, anime production generally focuses less on movement, and more on the detail of settings and use of “camera effects“, such as panning, zooming, and angle shots. Several art styles are used, and character proportions and features can be quite different, with a common characteristic feature being large and emotive eyes.
