Blizzard Entertainment has officially announced the release date for the highly anticipated “Vessel of Hatred” expansion for Diablo IV, which will feature a new class called “Spiritborn”.
As announced during today’s Xbox Games Showcase, Diablo IV expansion Vessel of Hatred is set to launch on October 8, 2024, on all available platforms.
In Vessel of Hatred, players will be exploring a new jungle region known as Nahantu, full of new Dungeons, Strongholds, and demons from warring Tribes.
Set immediately following the story of Diablo IV, players will fight to save Neyrelle from the Prime Evil’s Mephisto’s grip.
Furthermore, the new class arriving in the expansion is Spiritborn, “ranked among the apex predators of the jungle” and a class entirely new to the franchise.
Spiritborn is described to be “battle-hardened” with “mystical synergies that could only be awakened deep within the jungles of Nahantu” and that players can “embrace the ethereal Spirits entwined with this ancient civilization”.
A full class reveal of the Spiritborn is scheduled to be showcased via a livestream on July 18, 2024.
Apart from that, Blizzard also noted that the expansion will bring huge updates for all players, including new class skills, paragon boards, legendary glyphs, dungeon types, Tree of Whispers activities, and more.
Additionally, there will be a new co-op PvE mode where you and your friends complete objectives together, slay boss in a multi-level dungeon, while earning loot.
