Vivo Malaysia has confirmed the launch of the V17 Pro in Malaysia! Save the date for 1 October, with location to be announced later. Vivo also returns as the title sponsor for the PUBG Mobile Club Open (PMCO) Fall Split Global Finals 2019, held in December.
The Vivo V17 Pro recently received its SIRIM certification. Leaked news had shown a Vivo V17 Pro packing 6 cameras that includes a 32MP Dual Pop-Up Front Camera and AI Quad Rear camera. The dual pop-up camera is supposedly a 32MP wide angle optics + 2MP depth sensor combo. The rear AI Quad cameras meanwhile are said to be a 48MP main camera, 8MP Ultra Wide sensor and two 2MP sensors. The Vivo V17 Pro’s specs were not confirmed.
Vivo is looking to be at the forefront of esports to best serve customers by collaborating with PUBG Mobile. As for the PMCO, Vivo aims to provide such high spec phones to empower players in their search for conquest in the competition. PUBG Mobile has over 200 million fans per download excluding China, Korea and Japan. This user milestone is key to enforcing Vivo’s commitment to providing an ultra-smooth gaming experience, to connect and create meaningful partnerships with customers.

Vivo was also the title sponsor for July’s Spring Split in Berlin. Many tuned in to the largest mobile esports tournament! China’s Top Esports won the USD$180,000 grand prize over three days of competition, beating out the other global representatives. The champions also received limited BAPE x PUBG Mobile champion outfits along with the bragging rights, of course.
